Abstract

The number of domestic passengers coming to North Sumatra through Kualanamu International Airport in March 2024 reached 184,836 people, or an increase of 3.05 percent compared to the previous month of 179,372 people.

The number of air transport passengers to foreign destinations, both using national and foreign flights, in March 2024 decreased by 16.40 percent compared to February 2024, namely from 92,782 people to 77,563 people.

The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transportation passengers departing from Belawan Harbor in March 2024 was recorded at 7,121 people, down 10.31 percent compared to the previous month of 7,940 people, while the number of passengers arriving in March 2024 was recorded at 8,234 people, or an increase 25.37 percent compared to the previous month of 6,568 people.

During March 2024, inter-island goods transportation for loading activities amounted to 22,819 tonnes, or an increase of 148.49 percent compared to February 2024 of 9,183 tonnes.

Goods unloading activities in March 2024 increased 11.85 percent, from 379,388 tons in February 2024 to 424,335 tons in March 2024
