Agriculture, particularly food crops, has a very important role in supporting the lives of most people in Indonesia. This was reflected in the strategic role of commodity rice as a primary food source. Efforts to achieve food self-sufficiency remains a top priority of government development agenda in the agricultural sector. This was reflected in the declaration of self-sufficiency target rice, corn, and soybeans to be realized in the next two years. One type of data that is needed is information on harvested area of ​​rice, corn, and soybeans seta raw information wetland area which is the basis for calculating the commodity production figures.

Factually, the accuracy of the data harvested area of ​​rice, corn, and soybeans that have been published by the Central Bureau of Statistics using a list of SP-Rice and SP-Palawija questionable from various circles. Therefore, the research by interviewing a sample directly to farmers through Survey of Land and Harvest Area Food Crops in 2015 is important to do.

Training Officer Survey of Land and Harvest Area , Food Crops  is divided into two waves for 3 days for each wave. Officers were trained in Part I were 21 officers with 14 survey enumerators, and 7 officers supervisor / sample. Part I started 24-26 April 2015 and Part II from 27-29 April 2015.
