Abstract

  • The number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in November 2022 reached 10,615 visits, while in October 2022 there were 11,454 foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra.
  • For the November 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara cannot be compared to the same period in 2021, namely from 0 visits in November 2021 it has increased to 10,615 visits in November 2022.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in November 2022 averaged 50.14 percent, or an increase of 5.92 points compared to October 2022 of 44.22 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.49 days during November 2022, up 0.03 points compared to October 2022 of 1.46 days.
  • The number of domestic passengers departing from North Sumatra via Kualanamu International Airport during November 2022 was recorded at 188,598 people, down 0.45 percent compared to October 2022 which recorded 189,447 people.
  • The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transport passengers departing during November 2022 was recorded at 7,938 people, an increase of 96.97 percent compared to the previous month of 4,030 people.
