Abstract

  • The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in October 2022 reached 11,454 visits, while in September 2022 there were 5,895 foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.
  • For the October 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara cannot be compared to the same period in 2021, namely from 0 visits in October 2021 it has increased to 11,454 visits in October 2022.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in October 2022 averaged 44.22 percent, or decreased by 0.37 points compared to September 2022 of 44.59 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.46 days during October 2022, up 0.01 points compared to September 2022 of 1.45 days.
  • The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara through Kualanamu International Airport during October 2022 recorded 189,447 people, up 5.55 percent compared to September 2022 which recorded 179,483 people.
  • The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transport passengers departing during October 2022 was recorded at 4,030 people, an increase of 117.02 percent compared to the previous month of 1,857 people.
