Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in June 2022 reached 5,165 visits, while in May 2022 there were 3,861 foreign tourists who came to visit in North Sumatra.
In the period of June 2022, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 13,492.11 percent compared to the same period in 2021, from 38 visits in June 2021 to 5,165 visits in June 2022.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in June 2022 was an average of 44.18 percent, or decreased by 4.91 points compared to May 2022 of 49.09 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels is 1.36 days during June 2022, down 0.12 points compared to May 2022.
The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during June 2022 was 217,092 people, a decrease of 11.54 percent compared to May 2022 which recorded 245,423 people.
The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transport passengers departing during June 2022 was recorded at 9,335 people, a decrease of 44.67 percent compared to the previous month of 16,872 people.
