April 2022, Sumatera Utara's exports have increased by 2.00 percent

Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the Sumatera Utara region in April 2022 increased compared to March 2022, from US$1.26 billion to US$1.29 billion, an increase of 2.00 percent. When compared to April 2021, North Sumatra's exports increased by 28.69 percent.
The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in Sumatera Utara's export value in April 2022 to March 2022 was the aluminum category of US$40.25 million (276.98%).
Exports to China in April 2022 were the largest at US$203.80 million, followed by the United States at US$138.58 million and the Netherlands at US$97.91 million with the contribution of the three reaching 34.10 percent.
According to the main group of export destinations in April 2022, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US$438.59 million (33.97%).
