Abstract

  • The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in September 2021 decreased compared to August 2021, from US$1.16 billion to US$1.05 billion or decreased by 9.52 percent. When compared to September 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 37.22 percent
  • The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in September 2021 compared to August 2021 was the organic chemical group of US$5.97 million (10.91%).
  • Exports to China in September 2021 were the largest at US$185.47 million, followed by the United States at US$117.21 million and India at US$89.14 million with the contribution of the three reaching 37.44 percent.
  • According to the group of main export destinations in September 2021, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) are the largest with a value of US$386.70 (36.95%)
