Abstract

Sumatera Utara export value in August 2018 to July 2018 occurred in rubber and rubber goods (HS 40) of US $ 13.94 million (-12.70%) followed by timber, wood goods (HS 44) of US $ 4, 42 million (-17.39%), tobacco (HS 24) of US $ 4.26 million (15.83%).

Exports to China in August 2018 were the largest at US $ 97.98 million, followed by the United States at US $ 87.53 million, and India at US $ 59.14 million with the contribution of the three reaching 32.24 percent.

According to the group of export destination countries in August 2018, exports to Asia (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 257.06 million (33.88 percent).
