FEBRUARY SAKERNAS ENUMERATION

The February 2025 Sakernas (National Labor Force Survey) has officially begun! Statistical partners are currently conducting data collection in the regions of Nias Regency and West Nias Regency.

🔍 Purpose of Sakernas:
In general, Sakernas aims to continuously collect core labor force data.
Specifically for February 2025, the survey seeks to estimate:

• The number of employed persons along with various job characteristics

• The number of unemployed persons with detailed socio-demographic profiles

• Other labor force indicators based on the 13th ICLS (International Conference of Labour Statisticians) standards

• National and provincial-level trends

📅 Data Collection Period:
8 – 28 February 2025

💻 How Data Is Collected:
This survey uses a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) method, where enumerators use their own tablets or smartphones. Through the CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interview) system, officers can:

• Conduct interviews without carrying physical documents

• Ensure data confidentiality

• Transmit data immediately after interviews

• Enable near real-time access

• Allow monitoring via the FASIH Dashboard (Flexible Authentic Survey Instrument Harmony)
