Work Coordination with the West Nias Regent

In the context of work coordination, on May 21, 2024, the Head of Nias Regency BPS, Mr. Puguh Setiandono, along with his team, carried out several official visits.

The first visit was to meet with the Regent of West Nias. During this meeting, the Head of BPS presented the latest socio-economic strategic indicators and the activities carried out by Nias Regency BPS. The Head of BPS also requested support from the Regent regarding the plan to establish a BPS office in West Nias in the future.

The second visit was to the West Nias Communication and Information Office. This meeting focused on coordinating sectoral statistical activities within West Nias OPD (Regional Work Units), where BPS, as the data supervisor, will conduct meetings with several OPDs to provide sectoral statistical guidance.

The third visit was to the Gunungsitoli KPPN (State Treasury Service Office). The coordination was related to budget management to ensure that Nias Regency BPS can optimize budget absorption in accordance with applicable regulations.
